This cheesy beef casserole one pan recipe is a quick and hearty dinner packed with ground beef, pasta, and gooey cheese—all made in a single skillet.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1½ cups uncooked pasta
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with juices
1½ cups beef broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté for 2 minutes.
3. Pour in diced tomatoes, beef broth, and pasta. Stir to combine.
4. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
5. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Remove lid, top with cheese, cover again until melted.
7. (Optional) Broil for 2 minutes for a golden top.
Notes
Swap pasta with thin-sliced potatoes or use ground turkey for a lighter version.
Add frozen peas or spinach for extra nutrition.
