Classic Strawberry Angel Food Cake Trifle is a light and refreshing layered dessert made with fluffy cake, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream.
Ingredients
1 angel food cake, cubed
4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Cube the angel food cake into bite-sized pieces.
2. Slice fresh strawberries and set aside.
3. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
4. Layer half of the cake cubes in a trifle dish.
5. Add a layer of strawberries, then whipped cream.
6. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream on top.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Best served within 24 hours.
You can prepare it 4–12 hours in advance.
Use fresh ripe strawberries for best flavor.
