Description
Crock pot pepper steak dump dinner is an easy slow cooker meal made with tender beef, bell peppers, and a savory sauce. This comforting recipe requires minimal preparation and creates a flavorful family dinner.
Ingredients
1½ pounds flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
2 bell peppers sliced
1 onion sliced
3 cloves garlic minced
¼ cup soy sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Instructions
1. Slice the beef into thin strips and prepare the vegetables.
2. Add beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the crock pot.
3. Pour soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, ginger, and pepper over the ingredients.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 4 hours.
5. Mix cornstarch and water together and stir into the crock pot during the last 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
You can add mushrooms or snap peas for extra vegetables.
Flank steak or sirloin works best for tender slow-cooked beef.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
