Description
Easy crockpot teriyaki chicken and rice with tender chicken and rich sauce.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
1 cup teriyaki sauce
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp ginger (grated)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 cups cooked rice
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
Instructions
1. Place chicken in crockpot.
2. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over chicken.
3. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 4–5 hours.
4. Shred chicken and return to crockpot.
5. Add cornstarch slurry and cook 15 minutes.
6. Serve over rice.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for juicier results.
Adjust sweetness to taste.
Cook rice separately for best texture.
