Description
This easy beef and rice one-pan dinner is a 30-minute comfort meal packed with flavor, made with pantry staples and minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup long-grain white rice
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Optional: 1 cup frozen peas or corn, 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add diced onion and garlic, cook until softened.
3. Stir in rice, broth, and seasonings. Bring to a simmer.
4. Cover and cook for 18–20 minutes until rice is tender.
5. Remove lid, fluff with fork, and stir in any optional add-ins.
6. Serve hot with cheese or herbs if desired.
Notes
Use brown rice for a heartier option—extend cook time to 35 minutes.
Add veggies like spinach or peppers in the last 10 minutes.
Freeze leftovers in portions for easy meals later.
