Description
This Easy Chicken Alfredo Bake is creamy, cheesy, and oven-ready in under 40 minutes. It’s the perfect weeknight comfort food made with simple pantry staples.
Ingredients
12 oz penne pasta (undercooked by 2 minutes)
2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 cup reserved pasta water or chicken broth
Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13″ baking dish.
2. Cook pasta 2 minutes less than package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large bowl, mix pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan, and garlic powder.
4. Add reserved pasta water or broth to thin sauce if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Stir in half the mozzarella. Pour mixture into the baking dish.
6. Top with remaining mozzarella and cover with foil.
7. Bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 5–10 more minutes until golden and bubbly.
8. Optionally, broil for 2 minutes for a crisp top. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for extra convenience.
Add spinach or mushrooms for a veggie boost.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
