A hearty, cheesy, and comforting ground beef casserole with pasta that’s easy to make and perfect for meal prep.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef 8 oz elbow macaroni 1 small onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups marinara sauce 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 tsp Italian seasoning Salt and pepper to taste Olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft, add garlic. Add ground beef, season, and cook until browned. Stir in marinara and simmer for 5–7 minutes. Mix pasta and sauce in a 9×13 dish. Top with shredded cheese. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make it ahead and refrigerate up to 2 days. Use rotini or penne as pasta alternatives. Add spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
