Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
1 cup cottage cheese
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Boil pasta according to package directions and drain.
2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
3. Drain excess grease and add garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
4. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Lower heat and gently mix in cottage cheese.
6. Combine cooked pasta with sauce mixture.
7. Top with mozzarella if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Blend cottage cheese for smoother texture.
Add red pepper flakes for heat.
