Ingredients
8 oz beef sirloin or ground beef
2 packs instant ramen noodles (no seasoning packets)
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp grated ginger
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup beef broth (or water + bouillon cube)
2 green onions, chopped
Optional: sesame seeds, fried egg, sriracha, bok choy, mushrooms
Instructions
1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove if using strips; set aside.
3. Add garlic, onion, and ginger to skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
5. Break ramen noodles in half and add to skillet. Simmer covered for 3–4 minutes, flipping once.
6. Return cooked beef to the pan and toss with softened noodles.
7. Stir in green onions and any additional toppings.
8. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or a fried egg if desired.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce if broth is salty.
For extra spice, add chili flakes or gochujang.
Undercook noodles slightly if meal prepping to prevent mushiness.
Stir in leftover veggies for texture and nutrition.
