Ingredients

4 cups pound cake cubes

3 cups fresh strawberries sliced

2 cups heavy whipping cream

3 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon sugar for strawberries


Instructions

1. Wash and slice the strawberries then sprinkle with sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes.

2. Cut the pound cake into small cubes.

3. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy.

4. Place a layer of pound cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle bowl.

5. Add a layer of strawberries over the cake.

6. Spread a layer of whipped cream on top.

7. Repeat the layers until the bowl is full ending with whipped cream.

8. Decorate with fresh strawberry slices and chill before serving.

Notes
