Description
Sweet Chili Chicken Bites are quick, sticky, slightly spicy, and totally satisfying. This easy 30-minute recipe delivers crispy chicken coated in a bold sweet chili glaze, perfect for weeknights or party appetizers.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, diced
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
Optional: chili flakes, sesame seeds, scallions for garnish
Instructions
1. Dice chicken into bite-sized pieces and toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and sear until golden, flipping once.
3. Remove chicken. In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
4. Add sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. Stir and simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Return chicken to pan and toss in glaze. Cook for another 2–3 minutes to coat well.
6. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve hot.
Notes
Air Fryer Option: Cook chicken at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway. Toss in glaze after cooking.
Make it spicier with sriracha or red pepper flakes.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in skillet with splash of water.
