Quick and flavorful garlic shrimp rice bowl loaded with fresh vegetables and savory garlic sauce.
Ingredients
1 pound shrimp
3 cups cooked rice
1 red bell pepper sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot sliced
4 garlic cloves minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 green onions sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook rice according to package instructions
2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet
3. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side
4. Add garlic and stir for 1 minute
5. Remove shrimp and sauté vegetables until tender crisp
6. Mix soy sauce and honey into the skillet
7. Return shrimp to pan and coat with sauce
8. Serve over warm rice and garnish with green onions

Do not overcook shrimp
Use fresh garlic for best flavor
